the hotel is across from the cathedral. we felt welcome upon arrival. breakfast was first class. the room was comfortable.
i did not find a reception desk. check-in is automatic using door codes sent by email. the room window faces a vestibule, so other guests can see inside. there is a nightclub operating until 6am.

The room had an internal window.. this meant there was no natural light source, resembling a closed-off space. i found the air conditioning had a fixed setting. It could not be lowered below 21 degrees celsius, resulting in an uncomfortable temperature of 23 degrees in the room. this made it very hard to sleep, ..

the location is great, right next to the cathedral (i loved the views).
my room did not seem properly cleaned. the bedside tables had dust, and the carpet looked like it needed vacuuming. also, the staff didn't seem concerned about guests.
